Product Introduction
The Scorpion is a legendary machine that elevated the racing buggy category to the level of pure motorsports in both name and reality. First introduced in 1982, it remains a timeless classic with fans worldwide, even more than 40 years later. This iconic car, a source of pride for Kyosho, has finally been resurrected! The original chassis, known for its Baja buggy-style racing through the wilderness at the time, has been faithfully recreated, retaining its charm and innovative spirit. Furthermore, it has been upgraded to 2014 specifications for speed and durability that rivals modern buggy courses. While the semi-trailing arm suspension appears to be the original at first glance, the suspension arms are made of high-grade 6061T6 forged aluminum, boasting exceptional rigidity, strength, and durability. Furthermore, the aluminum die-cast gearbox has been redesigned to a two-piece structure, while retaining the original design, and is fitted with a differential gear. It also comes equipped with a slipper clutch that protects the transmission while making effective use of traction, taking the original's distinctive controllable handling and durability to the next level. The gears have also been refined to 48 pitch, thoroughly suppressing traction pulsation and delivering straightforward driving characteristics. The chassis bottom is also countersunk for a flat surface finish. There are no protruding screw heads, reducing contact resistance and abrasion with the road surface. It delivers high durability for racing on any course. The packaging is the same assembly kit format as the original, but the design has been revamped to use almost no self-tapping screws or nuts. Taps are cut into the parts, and most of the screws used are hex screws, resulting in a tight assembly and lightweight, high rigidity. Discover the secret behind why this legendary car continues to be called a legendary car with the Scorpion 2014. A world that is sure to satisfy even experts with a deep understanding of the past awaits.
