Hayakubo Private Academy is bustling with activity as the students prepare for their main event, the Autumn Cultural Festival.
-- However, the so-called "weak clubs" with few members are all racking their brains.
They've been faced with a onerous condition: "If they fail to complete the challenges set by the Student Council at the Cultural Festival, they'll be disbanded."
Then, protagonist Miyakuni Ichigo's Literature Club receives a notice:
"If the Literature Club magazine doesn't sell 100 copies, it will be disbanded."
"If there's demand for the literary magazine, it makes sense to provide a club room and club fees," the Student Council says.
Togawa Mayu, a childhood friend and former famous actress who is now a fellow Literature Club member, is annoyed, saying, "I'll lose my place in the club."
Nanase Sena, a junior and active writer, is confused, saying, "There's no other club I want to be involved in besides Literature Club." However, the Literature Club's only three members were unable to find a solution.
Then, Chiyoda Momoka, the president of the Drama Club, came to them.
"A Drama Club without a performance record can't be called a Drama Club. If we can't perform a play at the upcoming school festival, we'll disband the club."
The Student Council issued this notice, but the Drama Club only had two members. Putting on a play was completely out of the question. So──
"I want the Literature Club to write a script and perform in it!
And I want Mayu to perform on stage again!!" says Momoka.
Will the Literature Club and Drama Club be able to successfully complete the tasks set out by the Student Council?
Will Mayu be able to perform on stage again? And what will become of Ichigo and the girls' love?
Despite various problems, the date of the school festival draws ever closer.
